About Tim Ambler Originally from the UK, Tim Ambler is an accomplished and highly versatile musician, recording artist and songwriter. During his career, he has performed all over the world.
Tim began his musical apprenticeship with a variety of bands, first as a drummer and back-up singer before moving on to guitar and lead vocals, which is when he started to write songs.
His original career path was a more “sensible and practical one”. He studied law at Hull University and then moved to the Inns of Court School of Law in London, to qualify as a barrister. Music, however, was always his first love. During his university years, he honed his taste in music and found himself composing more and more songs. Since those early days, Tim Ambler's music has taken him from busking on the streets of France to supporting Mike Oldfield in front of 5000 people at the Point theatre in Dublin with just his voice and guitar.
