My date and I thought it was pretty good. Very crowded. The music is pretty good too but it seemed like they were students. Also, the seating was not great for listening. But the music isn't the main thing here. The atmosphere is really nice, and it's a good place for light food and drinks.

On a whim, I invited some friends to check out PHB on a Wednesday night. Fortunately, I got there early, as the place quickly packed in. Virtually every table was reserved. The live jazz comes off as authentic and inspired, not contrived like I feared. We came for the food, but our meal lingered on because of the good music vibe.
