Renowned among the Japanese for their fine quality, the much-loved “nori” (dried seaweed) from Saga prefecture located on Kyushu island in southern Japan, adds flavour and texture to a myriad of culinary creations from Nadaman’s master chefs. A particular classic favourite is “yaki nori”, crunchy “nori” served in wooden containers equipped with charcoal heaters to preserve its texture.
Not to be missed on 8th and 15th March in the afternoons will be the live demonstrations of Nadaman’s extra-long “nori maki”-making (rolled sushi with nori).
"Nori" from Saga, Japan will be available at Nadaman from 1st to 31st March 2008. For reservations, please call 6505 2266 ext 39.
