The BOAT is literally on a boat on Liangma river. It is Beijing's new alternative music venue owned by two Taiwanese djs (DJ @llen & DJane BB) and an experienced bar manager Geliang. Opening on the 11th April, The BOAT will host the best of Beijing's independent promoters and alternative music, with a full line up of various different events and styles of music ranging from Indie Rock, Electro, House, Techno, Drum & Bass to Funk and Reggae. The live stage will be the platform for the best local and foreign bands.
