Hutong School Lecture
Self knowledge is a key to finding fulfillment in our personal and professional lives.
Yet how well do we really know ourselves? It’s too easy to overlook our strengths, assuming everyone shares them.
Instruments like the MBTI reveal our natural behavioural preferences – our unique gifts. In this introductory talk we’ll look at some of the key dimensions the MBTI measures. You’ll leave with a deeper understanding of yourself, your motivations, your natural strengths and your potential areas for growth.
About the lecturer Through her business, Cows from my window, Sarah coaches, runs workshops and writes about leading the life you really want.
No stranger to career exploration and change, Sarah originally worked as a solicitor in a commercial City of London law firm. Realising she wanted to make more of a difference to people’s lives, she took up a marketing role at the UK's largest cancer research charity. Sarah worked with charities for 8 years, culminating in a senior role at the British Red Cross, where she scoped and implemented the first phase of a large-scale organisation wide change project.
Two years ago she fulfilled a long-held dream of living overseas by moving to Beijing with her then three month daughter, Elsa. She enjoys chronicling their experiences and misadventures in her TBJ Kids column Me, Myself and Elsa.
Sarah trained as a career and personal coach with Coach University, the world’s largest coach training organisation. She is also an accredited practitioner for the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator® Step 1 and 2 and the FIRO-B® psychometric instruments.
