Robert Downey Jr. is surprisingly good as technological entrepreneur Tony Stark in the Marvel Comics adapted film "Iron Man."
The writers gave Downey Jr. enough material to work with that his quick-witted personality shines. It's a plus to see a comic book film not marred by constant CGI battles — that being said, the film could have used a few more scenes involving the metallic superhero.
It's really Downey that steals the show. Terrance Howard as Jim Rhodes and even Jeff Bridges playing super villain Obadiah Stane don't get enough face time to truly develop their characters throughout the film.
Marvel Entertainment has already said an "Iron Man" sequel is almost certainly going to happen.
Without getting ahead of ourselves, make sure you stay in the theater through the end credits.

After everyone says how good Iron Man is, I have to see it with my own eyes, and it brings no disappointment! Tony Stark drives a R8!!! I look forward to the sequel!

All I can say is WOW! I guess it's a cool movie, but the story line could be better and a romance between Tony & Pepper?
Well I guess after expecting the movie this long, can't complaint.
