Celebrate the Dragon Boat Festival with a wide variety of fresh-filled, delightful dumplings called “zong zi” in the newly-opened, new-fashioned Summer Palace from 12th May to 6th June.

The Chinese Dragon Boat Festival is one of the oldest and most significant holidays celebrated in China. The boat races during the festival symbolize the attempt to rescue the patriotic poet Qu Yuan. This later on turned into the custom of eating rice dumplings during the festival. The celebration is a time for protection from evil and disease for the rest of the year.

Enjoy Master Chef Stanley Yuan’s delectable, zesty zong zi , such as Deluxe Abalone Zong Zi, Five Spice Zong Zi, and Eight Treasures Zong Zi.
