WAB's next Distinguished Speaker Series, Thursday April 17, 6:00pm - 8:00pm, welcomes three leading figures in the Chinese Film Industry (all WAB parents!) to discuss their work as actors, producers and directors. This event will take place in the Blu Theatre (HUB).

Distinguished speakers will include the following WAB parents.

Gu Changwei is internationally renowned as a cinematographer, director, actor and producer for works which include Farewell My Concubine, Peacock and The Invisible Children.

Critically acclaimed actress Jiang Wenli has starred in a number of Chinese and foreign films including Farewell My Concubine and Gua Sha Treatment, as well as on the popular CCTV dramatic series Da Zhai Men.

Peter Loehr is currently the managing director of the Creative Artist's Agency and co-producer of Children of Huang Shi (2008) and Jade Warrior (2006), as well as producer of Sunflower (2005).
