Description -
Beijing's premier blues and jam band at one of the city's most famous bars.
The show will be a benefit for Steve Aldred. A suggested 50 RMB entry donation will go directly to Steve's medical care and there will be raffles and other fundraisers throughout the night.
In February 2008 Steve Aldred was diagnosed with Hodgkin’s Lymphoma, which is a type of cancer of the lymphatic part of the immune system. Steve’s battle against the disease will be the toughest of his life as he will be expecting several rounds of treatment lasting for over a year. To support our friend and valued member of Beijing’s expatriate community, a group has come together to organize a series of events in support of Steve’s treatment.
Steve is a former professional football player and Union European Football Association (UEFA) and English Football Association qualified coach. He has worked on grass root coaching in China for over three years, and has coached students of all age levels at International School of Beijing, British School of Beijing, Western Academy of Beijing, Dulwich College of Beijing, Harrow International School, Eton International School of Beijing, Beijing City International School, and others.
Come out and have a great time for a great cause.
