This is a very well-received boat riding and walking tour, providing an opportunity to see a bit of everything of the capital, both historical sites and everyday life of Beijing. View more photos
Cruise along the imperial canal in a traditional style canopy boat (motorized) past Beijing Zoo, Beijing Aquarium and the Purple Bamboo Garden; appreciate the great views en route, and stroll in the garden to meet local singalong hidden in bamboo forests and join the passionate amateurs of the community singing. Then stop mid-route, to walk along hidden paths to explore one neglected Indian-style stone pagoda temple and stone carving museum; and a delicate Longevity Temple where served as a rest place for emperors, especailly Dowager empress Cixi.
The boat will then run directly to the south gate of the Summer Palace, and CCC bus picks you up there to drive you back.
