Description

This is one of the most popular of CCC' s past tour. The sites are eaceful, pretty, authentic and mostly known to few people.

CCC takes you to explore two obscure and fascinating sites. Tucked away in the mountains in the west suburb, the Eunuch tombs and temple complex remain authentic and peaceful.

The Fahai Si Eunuch Temple are nestled in the hills in a modest, peaceful area. It is listed as a state-level relic under government protection, and boasts the second largest group of murals in China; they were painted by artists of the Ming court.

Then eunuch Tianyi Tomb will be checked out the largest eunuch tomb complex and a memorial to eunuchs. The main tomb was built to salute the life of eunuch Tian, who served three generations of Ming emperors. He is the only eunuch who enjoyed grave complex similar to that of the Ming Emperors' Tombs: a sacred way with sculptures of horses, elephants, etc., and underground graves.

The tour will end up with visiting Beijing Eunuch Museum and learning all the history and stories of Chinese eunuch.

Price: RMB 180 (includes guided expert, interpreter, transportation and admission fee: RMB 60)
