Want to get out of Beijing for the summer? Yew Chung International School and Yew Chung Arts & Language Centre combine to create an extraordinary summer experience. Kids aged 9-14 can head to Xi’an and Shaolin Monastery for a full-immersion Chinese language environment, exploring Chinese culture through music, art and food.

The camp features daily formal language lessons along with field trips to famous Xi’an landmarks including the Terracotta Warriors, Bell and Drum Towers and City Wall, as well as traditional shows of Chinese music and dance.

Following Xi’an, kids will have a wonderful 5-day Kung Fu adventure at Shaolin Monastery in Henan Province, where they will receive wushu instruction from world-famous Shaolin monks.

Camp runs from July 14-30, all inclusive.

For kids aged 9-14.

Price approximately 20,000RMB.

REGISTRATION DEADLINE MAY 20. Late applications may be accepted at an extra 10% cost.

For those itching to get out of Beijing for the summer, this one's for you. Thanks to Yew Chung International School and Yew Chung Arts & Language Centre, kids aged 9-14 will be able to spend two weeks travelling through Xi’an and the Shaolin Monastery while exploring Chinese culture via music, performances, art, food, and trips to famous landmarks. The camp runs from July 14 to July 30 and costs RMB20,000 (all inclusive). There will be an additional 10 percent fee for late applications.
