The Syndicate is proud to present two more of the top talents in Drum & Bass, Kasra & MC Wrec Thursday, May 15 at China Doll. Supported by Syndicate DJs and MCs
Kasra is an integral, prominent figurehead in the UK underground scene. His own label Critical has created a unique identity that is revered the world over and has ultimately left an undying mark on the drum & bass scene. Several prominent producers have sought releases on the definitive imprint resulting in various tracks, produced by Calibre, Silent Witness, Break, Bungle, Breakage, Mathematics being signed and unleashed onto the vinyl market. In 2005 Kasra unleashed his first venture into the production world, the dancefloor smash Babylon with Austrian producer Dkay. The track was a firm favourite with Djs across the board with Fabio declaring his undying love for it on Radio 1 and labels all across the scene clamouring for it to be released through them. 2007 He unleashed The All Sounds Electric album, which gleaned 5 star reviews from all areas of the press and was one of Knowledge Magazines top albums of the year.
Wrec is a vital part of the Hospital Records roster and is a crowd favorite here in Beijing. He is currently considered to be one of the most exciting, entertaining, and hard working young mc/vocalists around. Over the years he's performed with the likes of Goldie, The Streets, Afrika Bambaataa, Rahzel, DJ Craze, Fabio, Grooverider, DJ Marky and more. Jon also caught the eye of Hospital Records bosses Tony Colman and Chris Goss. They made him resident MC at the labels monthly Hospitality parties in London, Berlin and Cardiff working regularly with London Elektricity, Nu:Tone, and High Contrast. In September 2003 Jon became the front man for the London Elektricity live band, going on to win a Knowledge magazine 'best live act' award as well as touring the European, Australian, New Zealand, Asian and Brazilian festival circuits in the process.

I'm really excited for this one. Maybe you haven't heard of Kasra, but he's a great DJ and his label puts out really good stuff.

Critical Records, wicked label! Djing wise, Kasra can definitely hold his own amongst the big boys.
Looking forward to this one. The only gripe I have is why oh why are all the international dnb nights always on a thursday?!?! Come on Beijing, pick up your game! Can't let Shanghai dictate everything all the time!

Tonight, tonight

Going to be good! The Breakage track that was released on Critical has been an absolute Beijing anthem. Both Elemental and D Rail have played it regularly for over two years.
