A brief introduction of the Tim's TEXAS BAR-B-Q:
More about Tim’s TEXAS BAR-B-Q - The word Bar-B-Q is used to describe many different types of cooking from different countries and regions – each with its own particular style. In Texas, a Bar-B-Q usually involves a large party of friends and family who gather around “the pit” – the place where the fire is built and the meat is cooked. People talk, take turns watching the fire or cooking and enjoy friendship. Texas-style Bar-B-Q features slowly-cooked meats over pecan, oak and mesquite woods. The cooked meats are then typically served with assorted side dishes like coleslaw or salads, beans and bread This famous cooking style has been brought to Beijing at Tim’s which is decorated with authentic Western (Texas-style) antiques and furnishings and features casual dining and a friendly bar Smoked Beef Brisket is our signature dish. At Tim’s, we hand-rub our beef briskets with a secret blend of spices and smoke them slowly to allow the flavors of the meat, smoke and spices to come together. The result of our special cooking process is a mouth-watering piece of meat with a unique flavor. Some prefer to enjoy my Bar-B-Q with a nice glass of cabernet sauvignon, but the spicy meats go well with a beer or margarita too!
More details about the food- Smoked Beef Brisket - We source only grade-A beef briskets. These are specially cut and have a large layer of fat covering them. We hand-rub each brisket with a secret blend of spices and allow these seasoning to penetrate the brisket over night. We then smoke the brisket using different types of wood chips until the brisket becomes tender. The cooked brisket is allowed to 'rest' before it is sliced. Excess fat is removed from the cooked brisket and it is then sliced by our expert meat carvers (the pit boss!)
Side Dishes - Coleslaw and Spicy Potato salad. Coleslaw is made from fresh cabbage, green peppers and onions. Spicy Potato salad - diced potatoes and vegetables including some jalapeno peppers to add a south-Texas kick to the potato salad.

We will have a scavenger hunt in June, please contact soon for more details
