Thirty-some years ago the only songs allowed to be played or heard here in China were those of a political, ideological and nationalistic variety. Now the music scene is bursting at the seams! The vitality and energy that exudes from music lovers here in Beijing is so refreshing and so diverse that the real question is why wouldn't she want to come perform in China? Chinese youth love their music, and its a great place to develop some loyal fans. Beijing keeps getting better by the day!

just let more chinese about your songs. more and more chinese youths like to listen english songs, just let's enjoy it.

If you managed to convince only 1% of the Chinese population to like your music & buy offer your cd sale price for $1USD - you would be $13,300,446 richer.
-
-
....now imagine you charged $2USD

The problem with this calculation is that a legimite media product never reaches one percent of the Chinese population. As soon as sales take off, product piracy will destroy any attempt to gain a legal market share.

After all the heartache the Chinese people have suffered with the disastrous earthquake, a star like Leona would add more international limelight to the trajedy, as well as lift the spirits of the saddened people of China.

Jet-setting international uber-reporter Michael Engstrom is based in Beijing. While he's not single (sorry, Leona), long hours of all-dubstep, all-the-time have compromised his journalistic integrity. Your arrival in the northern capital could be the ignition key that starts the engines of pop stirring in Michael's thus-far unrefined heart.

We need more international stars out here!

Word has it that CW Reader's Choice Party Promoters of the Year BaiCai are willing to offer DJ's for Leona's back-up band and throw the afterparty.

She plays soulful and real music. She's beautiful and fabulous. China would be a hit in China. And if she's in Tokyo she's gotta be thinking about China... so come on what has she got to lose.. nothing...and only with the gr8 possibility of gaining millions of more fans....who will all play her new songs as their ringtones...great publicity!!! So...when's the concert Leona?!

Love her music and can't wait for her to come to Beijing! And CW rocks!

The mere size of China's population -- almost triple that of England -- should be a big enough incentive for you to visit. Think about all the people you'd miss out reaching out to. We hope to see you soon!

If you come to China to perform, especially Beijing, you would definitely get the loudest cheers on stage from all your music fans...and dont' miss this chance to see the lovely people here....

I'm not sure whether its an issue of her not wanting to perform in China or the possibility of a performance in China being severely censured... but, either way, I'd convince her thusly (yes, I said 'thusly'):
Beijing is the most exciting city on Earth and the vibrancy in the air (well, not including the smog) is something that just doesn't exist in too many places, and she shouldn't knock it till she's tried it ;)
