Once a year, pianist/composer Christophe Lier realizes his compositions/arrangements with a larger ensemble as a retrospective of sorts, documenting a year's worth of work. OT Lounge is honored that Lier is presenting this special concert at OT Lounge featuring Lier New Photon Trio with Charlie Wang - double bass and Jimmy Biala - trap set, augmented by special guests in the saxophone and trombone seats. Lier has taken upon the baton and running forward into the bebop lineage. With each year, he contributes to this continuum of music with original compositions and new arrangements of the heritage pieces. Come pay witness to some serious in-the-tradition ancient to the future jazz music.
