City Weekend's 2008 Band of the Year, Woodie Alan takes to the stage where it all began -- Shunyi's The Orchard -- for a special performance.

Singer Alan Paul's father, trad jazz trumpeter Dixie Doc, is coming to town and will be joining Beijing's premier blues and jam band for just two special shows. This is number one.

The first set will be dedicated to dixieland jazz and feature Dixie Doc and members of the Ah Q Jazz Arkestra. The second set will be regular Woodie Alan blues-stravaganza.

Special midweek family friendly start time of 7:30.

Reservations recommended.
