I will name it Infinity. I chose that name because whenever I am in the water or ocean I feel infinite happiness and total relaxation. I want me and my family and friends, whenever we board the Infinity and after we board it, we will feel infinite power to tackle any problems that we may encounter because we have been rejuvenated, we just felt total relaxation and infinite happiness.
More Power to your company

My first sail boat would be called NüwAthéna, from the Chinese goddess Nüwa and the Greek one Athena. Both goddess of Earth, Humanity and Wisdom, they have been raped by the God of the Sea. Nüwa sunk into the sea and became a bird. I would love to sail on the sea, carrying with me the wisdom of those two goddesses, eternal links with the Earth and bridges between civilizations.

It's hard to beat the Starkship Emmaprise! After thinking about the 'Tom Cruiser' and 'Breaking Wind', I have decided to name my sail boat 'The Growling Goose'.
I grew up with geese and, yes, they make a kind of scary hissing/growling sound. Now when I cycle, my husband has said for years that I resemble a goose. And because I don't like to hear this, I make a sound similar to the growling our geese used to make! I can't believe I'm telling you this, but you asked! Also, the goose is a water bird, fast & elegant like a sail boat. Grrrrrrrr!

I would name my boat Miss Adventure. As boats are traditionally a "she," the honorific makes sense, and it also fits in with the image I have of myself as a dashing, adventurous sailor of the high seas, ready to take on tidal waves, whirlpools and mythical sea serpents.
The name is also a play on the word misadventure, which means bad luck. While some may initially think that this name portends doom, it is rather a way to trick any would-be sea gods into leaving my poor boat alone from real misadventures.

Sailbad the Sinner. The wordplay's just too awesome to resist. Although imagine trying to radio that to the coastguard if you’re capsizing. Or howzabout The Beijingr Cabbie; it's full of hot air, is often long-WINDed, and if it can maneuver the waters as easily as it dodges traffic and the police, it'd be unbeatable. Ultimately I'd probably go with Rock and Roll, it captures that exhilarating rhythm (and literal motion!) of riding the waves.

As a proud American, I would relate my boat's name to one of the most popular organizations in the US..the WWF. Hull Hogan would be my baby's name, now who's gonna mess with that?
I do enjoy comics, too, and as such, The Incredible Hull would be another possibility. If we painted the boat green, it would be invinceable!

Congratulations to wool & emma08 & shenghiskhan, you've won the three spots on City Weekend's Sailing team for Beijing's First Sailing Party!

My first name is Emma. Last name is Starks. Thus, it makes perfect sense for any seaworthy vessel owned by me to be called the Starkship Emmaprise.
The Starkship Emmaprise would forgo the traditional pirate flag to fly an emblem of William Shatner. I believe this would deter marauders, and also help to secure Priceline hotel deals at various marinas. Whether or not the crew would be required to learn klingon is still up for debate.
