How to get started in China as a new graduate

Many new graduates find unexpected obstacles if they want to start a career in China. Ms Sunny Hong Zhang will explain what can go wrong and how to make the start of your career a success. Topics discussed will be:

  • A comparison between career developments in China and the UK
  • Knowing how to conduct an interview
  • Knowing how an HR-department makes their decisions. What kind of qualities do Chinese companies like?
  • Knowing how to work with Chinese colleagues in a company (Chinese company culture)
  • Knowing how to deal with a Chinese boss

Ms Zhang would like to share and exchange more useful skills and techniques (tips) than the known theories in the books. Her presentation style is very open and she likes to involve the participants.
