Beijing Weiqi / Go Club
Welcoming anyone interested in the game of 'Go' or weiqi, this club meets Tuesday nights. Go is an ancient Chinese game known for being its interesting strategy and tactics despite its simple rules. In ancient China Go was perceived as the popular game of the aristocracy, while Xiangqi (Chinese chess) was the game of the masses. Go was considered one of the four cultivated arts of the Chinese scholar gentleman, along with calligraphy, painting and playing the musical instrument guqin.

We meet every Tuesday, currently at the rooftop terrace of the Bookworm. Arrive anytime in the evening - we often play until midnight.
