Taking place in Singapore in early May, the Gilles Peterson Worldwide Festival presents a 4-day musical bonanza with the very best in up-and-coming artists from all over the world. Amassing the most eclectic selection of sounds and artists under one roof, the GPWF has grown to be the largest, most successful event of such kind in Asia, drawing thousands of people from all over the world, all eager for new music. On a very special Festival preview in Beijing, Detroit's stand-out musician Recloose is kicking the party with the GPWF Sessions, offering the crowd a taste of the eclecticism that won him accolades all over the world. According to Detroit legend, while working in a take-out joint, Recloose slipped one of his demos into a rye sandwich order from techno don Carl Craig. Craig liked so much what he heard that he immediately signed him to Planet E, where he released his first album. This proved to be just the beginning of an eclectic and vibrant musical career that saw this man release 3 studio albums and tour the world.
