WIN a Meal with Wine Pairing for 2 at Brasserie Flo
Specially prepared by Michelin-starred chef Daniel Chambon, Brasserie Flo's five-course menu degustation (¥388 per person) provides a delicious introduction to the capital's oldest French brasserie. This Christmas, Flo is giving one reader and a guest a taste of all five courses coupled with wine pairings for each. The meal begins with the porcini velouté with fresh truffles paired with a glass of Bourgogne Chardonnay, Roux Père & Fils, 2007. The second course is terrine of Norwegian smoked salmon paired with Laforet Pinot Noir, Joseph Drouhin, 2007. Next is the red snapper on scallops carpaccio with a pepper sauce paired with Petit Bourgeois, Henri Bourgeois, Sauvignon Blanc, 2007. The main entrée is braised pork feet stuffed with goose liver paired with Médoc-Château Valeyrac, Cru Bourgeois, 2002. This delicious meal closes with Anjou pear in brioche with Calvados prune ice cream paired with Château des Tous, Sainte –Croix-du-mont. The winner will enjoy each of the courses and French wine pairings in Brasserie Flo's elegant French dining hall, modeled after Paris' Brasserie Terminus Nord. Serving fine French cuisine in Beijing for over a decade, Brasserie Flo is a true capital tradition. There's no better way to experience it than through this special menu.
