Beijing Playhouse Audition Announcement
PRODUCTION: I Do! I Do!. Two singer/actors are needed for this heartwarming family musical comedy by Tom Jones. Marriage is at the center of this funny, intimate and nostalgic musical by the authors of The Fantasticks. The show begins with Michael and Agnes on their wedding day and traces their life together over a period of 50 years, until the day they leave their house to the next pair of newlyweds. In that time we watch them go through their wedding night jitters, raise a family, negotiate mid-life crises, quarrel, separate, reconcile and grow old together, all lovingly to the strains of a tuneful, charming score which includes the standard My Cup Runneth Over. I Do! I Do! is directed by Brandon B. Blackburn-Dwyer with musical director Beth Kerzee and assistant director Kathryn Westberg.
THEATRE: Beijing Playhouse, China’s English Broadway Theatre.
AUDITION DATES: Sunday, January 10, 2010 at 2 pm and Monday, January 11, 2010 at 6:30 pm.
LOCATION: Beijing Playhouse’s auditions and performances of I Do! I Do! will take place at Goose and Duck, S1, Green Lake International Tower, Fourth Ring Road, Chaoyang Park Chaoyang District.
