Brief Introduction--

The film describes the life and insidee world of a twelve-year-old girl.
Xiong Zhen is at the growth stage but does not get a good environment. The feudal, rigid education system at school and the father’s absence and mother’s weakness at home give birth to her sensitivity and self-humiliation. She cannot handle the humiliation and sarcasm of teachers and classmates, so she chooses to escape, yet this cowardliness makes her feel deeply shamed and self-suspicious. More humiliations and practical jokes come to her because of that, which again makes her even more sensitive and self-contemptuous.

Director statement---

It is a Everyman＇s film to call out the social attention on the education problem. The film has nothing to do with: the vanity proclaimed as artists, the aim at material gains ，the narcissistic self-appreciation of expressionistm，the nonsense on not a little investment, the garbage of refined package by so-called career man, the parody of Jia Zhangke＇s regular long lens that stares at small potatoes, the ulterior motives to follow the popular, the purpose of business profit but bear the palm in passing. The film is just the personal behavior with social responsibility.
