I'd recommend D!O!D!O!D! (myspace.com/dodoband). They're an interesting group out of Hangzhou. Hard to say if they're my favorite Chinese band, but certainly up there.

My fave is the house band at MBox in Weifang, Shandong Province. They rock like no other!
Voila, that is incentive for Infadels and Killa Kella to come play there in the fall, when I come back there. ;)

doubt you guys have heard of Tuzi Shige Yuanqiu (the rabbit is sphere), but the Infadels must hear them, they will incinerate their world. They have two twin sisters as singers. they are both utterly gorgeous. The younger one has a cleft palette, but it just adds to her style. They only give shows on the roof of an erguotou factory in Changping District.

forgot to mention that the girl with the cleft palette has to sing with a vocoder, but it just makes the sound all the more fresh - the two sisters sing point and counterpoint, with one mimicking the style of ancient Kara Khitanese opera (much sexier than beijing opera)
