Marriott International North hotels hosted the first Catering Gourmet event

On November 29th, Marriott International North hotels hosted the first Catering Gourmet event at The Westin Beijing Chaoyang with the participation of 20 hotels across 11 distinctive brands. The activity aimed to showcase the diversity of brand culture within Marriott International as well as their talented culinary teams and their creativity and expertise in catering and events. The participating hotels offered an array of meeting and catering solutions to fulfill the varying needs of meeting and event planners in attendance at the event.

On that evening, professional meeting and event planners, companies and loyal hotel guests all gathered at The Westin Beijing Chaoyang to savor the signature dishes and drinks from each and every participating brand of the Marriott International.

Guests were amazed with an array of delicacies including the European-style afternoon tea from The Ritz-Carlton hotels; the Coffelicious themed tea break from JW Marriott hotels; the mini burger and A&W root beer, which were developed at the Hot Shoppe by J.W. Bill Marriott back in 1927, presented by Marriott hotels; and the SuperfoodRX™ menu offered by The Westin hotels. During the event, guests also had the chance to experience the exciting music-themed tea break from W hotel and special cocktails from the Evenings at Renaissance. The authentic Taiwanese delights from Marriott Executive Apartment and Chinese-style Mexican burritos were also favorites of many participating guests. Additionally, Sheraton Weddings and Four Point® Best Brews™ also brightened the night.

These distinctive food and beverage products not only demonstrated the charm and talent of the hotel service and culinary team, but also created an unforgettable experience for all guests. Through this event, guests also obtained a thorough understanding and recognition about Meetings Imagined, a Marriott inspiration and tools for great events.
