As with the other major Xinhua bookstores, the Wangfujing branch carries an extensive range of books on a wide variety of subjects. The English-language selection is slim, but a saavy shopper can pick up cheap, Chinese-published softcover editions of classics such as Jane Eyre and Tom Sawyer. There is also a fabulous selection of children's books, including lavishly-illustrated encyclopedias, easy readers and picture books, as well as posters, fun interactive books and other aids to help kids learn Chinese.
