This non-profit aims to enrich the lives of migrant children through creative arts and team sports. They regularly recruit volunteers to teach weekday, weekend or camp courses. Other volunteer opportunities include administrative support.
CAI (formerly Children's Art Initiative) 儿童才艺行动
CAI empowers underprivileged children of China's rural migrant laborers through creative arts education and team sports. Four core values, or the "Four C's," Confidence, Courage, Commitment, and Care, are taught through the programs. The organization is volunteer-run, comprised of professionals, artists, art teachers, and university students. You can help by donating, volunteering, or raising awareness by becoming an Ambassador. CAI is always looking for new volunteers to teach at migrant schools with the Saturday programs during the school year and at an intensive camp in the summer. Other opportunities are also available.
