This international non-governmental organization aims to improve the lives of the disabled community in China's rural areas. The group leads community-based rehabilitation centers in Guangxi, Sichuan and Tibet. They are currently working on programs in Beijing. Visit their website to get involved.
Handicap International is a non-governmental organization. Its mission is to contribute to the prevention of disabilities and to support the improvement of the life of disabled people in all related areas (medical, social and economic). The organization was founded in France in 1982 and is now present in more than 60 countries. The organization has been operating in China since 1998.
