An opportunity for your philanthropic and consumerist sides to meet in the middle. This non-profit group takes in donated goods, sells a few of them to pay for transportation costs, and delivers the rest to people in need, in the process supporting 27 local charities. The shop also now contains a bookstore, with books for sale and gently-used book donations welcome. Shop for knick-knacks, volunteer or donate.

Roundabout takes your unwanted, good quality clothes, household appliances, decorative items, toys, bedding, furniture, etc., and distributes them to over 30 charities in the Beijing area and many more throughout China. Visit the Store for great bargains on household goods, games, and scrapbook materials – items change frequently. Drop-off your gently used books at Roundabout Books and buy new ones to support the charities. This “not-for-profit” organization is located in Shunyi District near the international schools. Mon-Sat 9:30am-5:30pm. Volunteers needed.
