This place has a beautiful lunch buffet with fresh salads, beautiful dishes both cold and warm and a very big, impressive and delicious dessert table. Cafe 99 is elegant and at the time very quiet, making it a great spot for a hearty lunch in the city.

We went there for the Sunday brunch.
At first, we were surprised by the large choice of seafood, meats, foie-gras and sushi station, crepe, desserts, etc. While the choice was broad, we still felt something was missing: the service!
The restaurant is obviously new and the staff, while trying their best, still misses the mark by far for a 5-star hotel restaurant. I just can't remember the number of times we had to repeat our requests because they had simply forgotten!
I guess after 6 months and some serious staff training, the service will be at the level it should have been from the start.

Cafe 99 is elegant and at the time being its lunches are very quiet, so if you are looking for a great, hearty lunch in the city this buffet should be on your list of places to check out. And when you do, be sure to make an extra salad for me and drop it by our office on the way out.
