The ice-cream and sorbets are to die for, especially the lemon and mango!

Very nice bread...but the ice cream is amazing, especially the mango. Well worth a visit.

Instantly became one of my favorite places in Beijing the first time I went, I go out of my way to eat here. Among the best - if not the best - breads, pastries and sandwiches in Beijing.

Super yummy hot chocolate, definitely the best I had in Beijing, and I've had a lot of them before! The desserts are good, but it's very similar to kempi deli. Love their passion fruit white chocolate mousse log, wish they have more passion fruit desserts! Basically will go back just for the hot chocolate, the desserts are also good, but could get them elsewhere.

Alright, now that I have a really good mood, I thought I would dish out more detail to the hot chocolate :-p I found out that they make their hot chocolates from chocolate syrups instead of those chocolate powder mixes that other places use, and that's the secret of why it has this really rich and silky texture (cuz I was inquiring the guy if I could buy the mix togo so I could make it at home). Anyway, heard that they are opening up a branch in the central villa area, sounds good to me as it will be closer to me now, yea!

I bought a birthday cake here once. It was over RMB400, but it was definitely worth every penny.
It was the Strawberry Cheesecake. And it would be saying something if it was as good as something you could find back home (in the States). But it was better!

Went here and had dessert for lunch (one of my favorite ways to eat a meal!). Was disappointed.
Fine, they use Valrohna as their coverture chocolate. Nice, and to be expected if they're French.
But 1) strawberry cheesecake not impressive. Didn't really taste like anything. Have had much better in the States - and at Sugar in Xindianti (the Collection) in Shanghai.
2) Truffles not good. Too sweet and artificial. Again, I think Sugar in Xindianti was better and stuff in the States is much better (Richart, Rechuitti in SF come to mind).
3) Ice cream not that great either. Too sticky sweet for my tastes. (had mango and passion fruit, which was oddly two colors...)
4) Macaroon OK. Better than most and everything I've seen in Beijing (which has not been a lot).

I didn't find one that good in any other country If you want a taste of france you do have some very good bakery in Paris but you have to know them. If you are in beijing and you want to fill in frnace in one of those good bakery do not hesitate to go there!!! It is a good way to fill France. Have a nice Breakfast or lunch if you prefer Baguette!!! I did really like the Opera it is a cake.
