A small café serving up respectably decent Middle Eastern treats, such as tabbouleh and hummus. The chicken schwarma sandwich deserves particular praise. And unlike many Middle Eastern restaurants, this one actually serves beer.

This is a nice, simple place to spend a quiet evening just a wee bit north of the very heart of Sanlitun, and the authentic tabbouleh and crispy fries make a tasty accompaniment to the sandwiches, but the service is a bit off (our waiter seemed as if he might have been spending more time sucking on a hookah than understanding what was going on in the kitchen). Nonetheless, it's much more reasonably-priced than most other Middle Eastern places in the city, and a good spot for an evening undisturbed by belly-dancing.
