Opened by a Taiwanese who graduated from the Beijing Film Academy, the café is a favorite of students and clock punchers alike. Despite bland sandwiches and marginal breakfast fare, empty tables are a hot commodity for customers surfing the free Wi-Fi, catching up with friends or studying quietly over mugs of latte. Perfect for letting time slip away.

It's the cats and the atmosphere dude! :) This place has a garden area and is a perfect place to retreat from the busy streets of central Beijing. The cats are the trademark of the place and as beautiful as confiding. Unfortunately, their food is not entirely convincing. Especially the Italian noodles (and there especially the Carbonara) are somewhat tasteless and to avoid. Go for the surprisingly rich and tasty club sandwich (I know, does not sound entirely tempting) instead. Also, their kitchen is apparently rather small and it can take a bit of time until you get your food (but hey, one does not go to such a place because one is in a hurry anyway..) Their drinks are good, and the cappuccino even approaching a "very good". Altogether, a good place to go play cards, read a book or chat the day away with friends in a cosy, relaxed and calm atmosphere.
