The Sofitel Wanda's all-day dining restaurant serves a range of Western and Asian food, made in the open kitchen. The Sunday brunch is one of Beijing's best thanks to the excellent cheese selection and availability of fresh-cooked lobster.

Description -
An open kitchen concept with Western and Asian food, offering an extensive wine cellar and fresh coffee bar.

Not sure if it is a 5-star "tour around the world", or just some cheap tour.
Service was ok, and rather smooth. The chefs behind the kitchen looked bored however and were playing around, although food were made fresh from behind the kitchen, but it took over 15 minutes to get it to us, which the food turns cold by the time it reach us.
Food display were just not very attractive, looks like a gathering of cheap food. The sushi were not fresh and no lid over it, rolls were not Japanese perfect, nor the taste, wasabi has been out in the open too long. The seafood are just plain, again not fresh seafood. Most of the food were far too dry as the result of steaming too long and not replaced over the hour. Cheese were not good at all (surprising for a French hotel?). Dessert were just not attractive, spills were not wiped. List would just go on and on.
Suffice to say we expected more from the "worldwide sofitel flagship".
To round it up, 1-star food, 3-star service, at a 5-star price.
