This restaurant with tall glass windows offers a good view of the area and serves up a range of regional cuisines. The daily lunch menu features Hong Kong style dim sum as well as Cantonese and Huaiyang cuisines.

Subtle Flavors
The long windows and Art Deco lamps hanging from the high ceilings set the mood for the clean and simple courses served here. The BBQ pork (¥48) though too oily, had a satisfyingly audible crunch. Thankfully, we had Tie Guan Yin tea (¥5 per cup) that helped erase traces of the grease wallpapering our arteries. The asparagus topped with white fungus (¥52) paired well with steaming white rice as did the sweet luscious fibres of tender stewed pork spare-ribs done “wu xi” style (¥58). The poached mandarin fish fillet in hot chili oil (¥138) was decent, if unmemorable. Our Ee-fu noodles with Chinese chives (¥48) was a little too wet, but enjoyable nonetheless. The chefs here go easy on the seasoning, and the lack of ubiquitous MSG taste is a refreshing change. Service was friendly but spotty—we attribute that to teething problems—and believe this restaurant warrants a second visit.
