Run by the same people behind The Schoolhouse, this four seasons restaurant is a modernized version of the traditional yuchi (鱼池) farmhouse style fish house. Their specialty is the grilled trout, but don't pass up the honey-baked donuts. The big seating area is perfect for events, while a more intimate pub (with working fireplace!) for smaller groups.
The Roadhouse is a revamp of one of the earliest restaurants established at Mutianyu Great Wall. Surrounded by orchards and its own farm plot the Roadhouse offers sweeping views of the Great Wall from the terraces, dining rooms, and pub with fireplace. Trout freshly netted from the pond, ribs, and grill specials as well favorite local dishes done with a light touch.
