Gelato fans flock to this stylish space serving up some of Beijing's best icy treats right near Sanlitun. Although there are tasty pannini and salads on the menu, regulars usually skip them for an extra helping of desert. Just the ticket on a punishing Beijing summer day.

went to their new location last night! either i just have been craving it for too long, or the ice cream is even better! try the hazelnut! it's heavenly. i remember the old location had horrible service and the staff now seems new, so let's hope they can keep it up

Really wonderful ice cream!

OMG REALLY!?!?!?
did i just go on an off day or do i have astronomically higher (or strange?) ice cream standards than everyone else on this site? while i was just in milan and swore off eating gelato in china afterwards (how can it compare?), i had some iceason in Shanghai and was really surprised at how good it was....not as good as in milano, but definitely worth the money on a hot summer's day. And their green tea ice cream was FANTASTIC. nothing you could get in milano
based on these great CW reviews, and great reviews in other expat magazines and website, i went and was expecting to be wowed. but i should've known once i saw the gelato, it was really sad looking and deflated. i got tiramisu and some other flavor. it was wayyyyy tooo sweet, and did not taste like tiramisu or whatever the other flavor was at all. and its not that i have bad memory or that it was forgettable, but that i forced myself to forget it. i walked all around sanlitun trying to find this damned place and seriously people, the ice cream tasted terrible. worse than if i had bought it at a supermarket, and i would've just been much better off going to coldstone.
and really, i confess i was looking for something like iceason. but it really really fell flat, i would never go again, and just hoping for iceason to make its way up to beijing
