This venerable eatery is a late-night Sanlitun staple, serving up baskets of fish and chips to drunken hordes. Patrons also pile in for a quick'n'greasy lunch, as the thick-cut chips and battered fish fillets served up fast make for superior food on the run.

Not sure about the burgers... But the fish is alright... and so is the Australian sausage... although it was more intriguing when they battered it up.... now it's served without the batter and it looks... well.... order it and see for yourself...

Delicious Fish and Chips Great home cut chips and delicious boneless fish, served with generous helpings of tar tar sauce is a treat I never tire of. Recently discovered they deliver too, with all served up in their own excellent newspaper.

The best chips in China! Finally somewhere to satisfy my cravings for proper chips! None of your anorexic mcdonalds nonsense here. Great fat chips, and tasty fish into the bargain. The perfect place for a snack after a few beers.

Getting drunk, in one of the surrounding holes, before eating there is a must, at least after my experience.
Once i really craved fish and chips and decided to go there in the early evening on a weekday, turned out not to be a good idea. The fries were soggy, the fish bland and not crispy, besides i don't like their sauce tartar much. Drunk okay (the reason for two stars), not drunk a no-no. Let them cockroaches crawling out from beneath the basin be my witnesses. At least i had some company ;-)

You got to be drunk The only reason to eat these uninspired burgers (check out the "Chicken Hamburger") is to be drunk... If you are they may be alright :)
