A restaurant and deli combination serving up the classics of the classic bistro, which has been serving up the finest foods since 1886. Decorated in pink and silver, it is clear that this place is not afraid to show off, and the quality of food speaks for that fact. There is also deli and a grocery store downstairs, serving up gourmet fare.

Luxury Parisian grocery store providing Beijing with the finest items. It has everything the epicurean heart can dream of, including some of the best cheese, chocolates and pastries in town.

Walking through Fauchon evoked memories of Paris; strong aromas of deeply brewed coffees, sweet sight of dessert delicacies and fresh smells of different breads - makes you forget you're still in beijing! The classy pink decor is in a sense iconic of the Fauchon brand image and the service is without a doubt top-notch. The lunch special includes appetizer and salad bar (which are worth the trip in and of themselves) and the food is uniquely delicious.
Priced at 188RMB a person for lunch it is definitely not one of the best deals in town, but the multiple dessert opportunities definitely make it worth the money!

The restaurant on the second floor serves up really good food perfectly cooked and beautifully presented. Has to be one of the best meals I have had in Beijing. The buffet option gives you a chance to sample a whole range of starters, you can then take a main course from the menu then go back to the buffet for the desserts!
The bakery on the first floor has some excellent breads, cakes and meals to go. The chocolate eclairs are divine!
The deli in the basement sells some real treats in the form of jams, mustards, olives, biscuits, coffees, teas, wines, etc.
Not cheap but worth a visit if you fancy something special.
