Monsoon derives from the Portuguese word, which meant a seasonal prevailing wind. In the past sailors would travel under this wind to discover new worlds, the word is also believed to bring prosperity and blessing. While dining in Monsoon a layer of glass separates the time and captures best of Beijing the fast paced lively city, the emotions felt and a bite fresh from the gigantic open-style kitchen within the dark oak wood surrounding, whilst the natural light filling in.
