This restaurant serves a nice steamed fish head with chili and phoenix brochette eggplant with green chili, but the other dishes are a bit disappointing and seem more like a range of rice flavoring additives than a 'real' meal.

The steamed fish head with chili was nice (RMB 98), others liked the phoenix brochette eggplant with green chili (served cold) which was RMB 28. The piquant crab, Hunan style (RMB 188) was mostly shell and spice and little meat, not so good. Other dishes, stir fried pork flank with chili (48), sauteed prawn with dried pork and pickle (88), country style bean-curd (28) and a fair number of other dishes we had were disappointing. Although initially I felt we had drastically over ordered I had the felling when we finished that we had been served a range of rice flavoring additives rather than a 'real' meal.
