The design of the interior is pretty nice. My fried udon came a bit late but was pretty tasty. The fatty salmon sashimi was very good although a bigger slice would have been nicer.
We also had some rolls. All in all its a decent place.
But I think I'd rather spend my money in a place like Hatsune.

The interior is quite nice, and I really enjoy the sashimi here. Some of the other entrees are great, but I can't say I'm keen on their sushi rolls. Maybe it's just me, but I can't say I am particularly crazy about the lettuce in my California roll, nor the cooked tuna in the spicy tuna roll. While my roommate is infatuated with this place, I think I'd rather stick to Hatsune for my sushi.

This place is difficult to find, as the sign is tiny, but is worth seeking out. The cavernous interior is reminiscent of a small Japanese village with lots of private rooms done out like small houses.
The weekend lunch buffet is fine value at RMB 98 or RMB 130 with beer and sake (school age kids eat for RMB 15). There seems to be something for everyone with an impressive array of sushi, sashimi, tempura, hot pot, barbeque and desserts. The food all tasted pretty good and was replaced very regularly. They even lay on pizza and french fries for the kids along with an area where they can make their own cookies to take home.
This is a great place to take the kids at the weekend.
