It was a great idea. We showed up because of the cute icon in the page above: Quaint Japanese restaurant. Great place for brainstorming.
The word "Sofitel" should have made us think twice, but we took the elevator to the sixth floor nonetheless. Find the cool Japanese icon and have a great meal... it may be a little pricey, but...
Hmm... RMB 100 for a bowl of noodles?!?

I got back in the elevator hoping it would transport out of this world of Ginza prices and back to my wonderful, cold, but reasonable Beijing.
I never tried the noodles, but the four of us had a great meal over in Huamao at the Vietnamese place called Lemon for the price of 1-2 people at this Japanese icon. (Just do a search and you can find lemon on CW)
