I must completely disagree from the above reviewer because: 1) After eating the sashimi here for dinner, my boyfriend suffered from a severe case of food poisoning for 2 days. 2) Other than serving BAD sashimi, the portions decrease with each order of food and the amount of time you are left waiting increases. 3) Service was extremely slow and "forgetful"...maybe they're hoping you eventually give up. 4) 78rmb only gets you access to the first 2 pages of the menu, to get drinks included with your meal, the price of dinner goes up to 138rmb per person.
Basically the only positive thing about this place is the fact that it starts at 78rmb...but then again, is a 78rmb buffet really worth the risk of food poisoning? (In addition to bad fish, the restaurant's edamame - which is one of the cheapest items for a restaurant to purchase - was rotting...i will upload a picture of said edamame as proof)

as matsuko is getting more and more expensive, a japanese friend of mine recommended this restaurant to me. located behind hilton hotel, you can see the restaurant right away judging from the japanese exterior (red japanese lanterns hanging outside).
its ALL YOU CAN EAT! they have several options for buffet. i opted for the cheapest one RMB 78 and at the end of the dinner i was wondering how good the buffet selection will be if i chose the most expensive one. (i forgot how much is it)
food is good if not excellent. for sashimi lovers, this place is for sure a place to go. if in matsuko you can only get limited sashimi in your buffet (5 types of fish, each type one slice per person, you want more, you fight with your friend). but in this place, you can order as much as sashimi you can get in a day. now dont we love that?
the rest of the food were very good as well. the fuwuyuans were friendly as well. ive been recommending this place to my friends and i always get the same feedback, "awesome food, awesome buffet, great sashimi, worth for the money and will never go back to matsuko for japanese buffet." im planning to go here more often in the future.
