With simple, minimalist decor, Gaon is a far cry from your typically tiny, crowded and smoky Korean restaurant. You won't find barbecue here, but patrons love the organic-only dishes like abalone with pork and the stewed beef. Don't miss the great view of Chang'an Avenue.

Apart from having very yummy food of good pricing, they also have some apparently even better and of pretty expensive items on the menu if you're going for the real Korean Palace dining experience. In exchange for this perfect indulgence of Korean food a 10% service charge is added to your bill, but you're still happy to pay because the food is just - so - good!

Gaon is the perfect place to go if you're looking for high quality Korean food of reasonable price. The well-lit restaurant space and easy-listening background music lift up your appetite to welcome the fantastic food served in beautifully arranged dining ware (stainless steel chopsticks and spoon!) The attentive service and the surprising conclusion of fruit served made my whole dining experience a complete happy ending. Bravo!
