This quaint little eatery is fantastic for those who frequent the Wangjing area. Named after the women in Malaysia who married southern Chinese men, the restaurant delivers a great blend of Malay flavors with Chinese influences, as well as a spread of other Southeast Asian cuisines. Don't miss the Malaysian hokkein mee, a specialty from Kuala Lumpur.

A small place so it gets packed out during lunch very quickly. Try getting there 11.30am - 12noon to your table. And better still they offer 10% off for early birds.

They offer more than the regular Malaysian favourites. Must try the Mamak Mee Goreng, the Malaysia Hokkien Mee...fabulous! Keeps me going back for more. Vegetarians are not left out. Try the Pasembor Rojak...lots of vegie and crispy tofu, etc covered in warm spicy coconut peanut sauce...DELICIOUS.

Accpets Ya Gao Card so guys go for it!

    Nyonya Nibbles

Little Nyonya is a quaint little eatery located deep in the Wangjing area. The flavors are more traditional than Kafe Peranakan and the portions are bigger as well. And while we wouldn’t travel long distances to visit the restaurant, the food is fantastic for those who frequent the area.

The décor is cute and café-like, although the all-white furniture creates a fairly sterile look. While small, the seating is comfortable and doesn’t feel cluttered.

The restaurant’s name refers to the Nyonya, women in Malaysia who married southern Chinese immigrants and integrated their Malay flavors with Chinese cooking to create delicious fusion fare. Though the menu offers plenty of options from various parts of Southeast Asia, we stuck with the original Nyonya eats. The kueh paiti (¥25 for six pieces) are crown-shaped fritters, stuffed with fried turnip, radish and peanuts. Dip these cute little tapas in ginger and vinegar chili sauce for a mixture of spicy sweetness. The Nyonya curry prawns (¥70) are also quite sweet, made with a tomato-based mixture and caramelized onions. We loved the mixture of textures and flavors in the pasembor rojak (¥20), a warm salad mix that includes strips of youtiao, turnips, cucumber and peanut sauce, sprinkled with sesame seeds. But the dish we liked most was the Malaysian hokkein mee (¥36), one of the owner’s personal favorites. These black rice noodles are a specialty found in Kuala Lumpur, coated in dark soy sauce that gives a savory flavor, mixed with pork, Chinese cabbage, squid and shrimp.
