This 24 hour spot, while not known for its hygiene or service, attracts a bustling crowd happy to guzzle Qingdaos at all hours and munch on delicious chicken wings, nanding kaorou and very generous portions of dapanji and dapan niurou. Perfect for those who need a blast of Xinjiang spice after a night out on the town.
Adaxi is a Xinjiang style restauarant a stones throw away from the Dawanglu subway station, Yang Guang 100, and ShouDu JingMao DaXue. This hidden gem, although not the cleanest establishment, is always bustling with patrons happily guzzling Qingdao while noisily munching on yang rou chuar. In addition, the wait staff, which can sometimes be blunt to say the least, runs a pretty smooth show. Their chicken wings are a must as are the nanding kaorou( fried bread and lamb) and dapanji or da pan niu rou-a monstrosity of chicken or beef, potatoes, onions, peppers, and clear noodles all lathered in a spicy sauce so scrumptious you could drink it as a soup if you feel so inclined. And don't worry about breaking the bank at this place. You can eat like a king while spending like a peasant. Be warned, if you don't like cumin/ xinjiang spices you might have trouble finding food you like since most dishes are bathed in them. If these spices please your taste buds then you are in for a gastronomic adventure. Enjoy anytime as Adaxi welcomes even the drunkest customers at all hours of the day.
