Popular destination for foreign students to gather and I can see why! The pizzas are enormous and the prices are extremely reasonable (for what you get) and the calzones are amazing - probably the best in beijing! They have the cheapest Guinness on draft in the city too! Although this location gets packed on nights and weekends, it's definitely better than the sanlitun location - prices are cheaper and service is better. (And they deliver too!)

Good pizza but nothing to rave about, the main perk here is size of the pie. Set two people in on a medium pizza, and you'll probably still have leftovers. This place gets hectic during peak hours, and the servers don't have a great system for dealing with it, so try to come for a late lunch or early dinner. The location is great if you're biking out to the summer palaces; it's directly west of the Old Summer Palace.

I was an affectionate fan of the Kro's, pizza at least once a week, big dinners with friends and delivered home for a movie. I'm not anymore. Not only they've been late several time with the delivery (and I'm talking of 2 hours or more), but they even insist in such occasion to ask me for the taxi's money, which is ridiculous given the horrible service they're providing. In addition to that, pizzas arrive cold as ice, even if I live at 1 km distance from the restaurant. One last thing, the waiters have grown increasingly pressing for orders or giving strange pissed faces in answer to polite questions on the menu. Sorry, but what you write is not true anymore.

mmm....1 star? Whatever homie, Kro's Nation for life! Free beer tuesdays (as I've already stated on the KN Gongti page), awesome pizza (definitely best in town [actually two towns since nothing in shanghai rivals it either] and definitely the chillest atmosphere in town) Its just funny that nniud only has 2 reviews and they are both ragging on the nest. So many fake reviewers on this site. Get a life! AAAAAAndddddd Kro's Nation and Beijing Ultimate Frisbee for life! Just check out the place for yourself, and unless you're an uptight sort of character you'll probably like it.

went here only once after visiting summer palace. it was really nice coz we were all very tired of walking and boating. so a gigantic pizza treat is absolutely perfect. like the kro's nest in gongti, pizza is ok. beer is ok. the service is better here. maybe coz it was not too crowded when i went there. i dont know when i will visit this resto again since its too far from my place. but if im around the area and cant find something nice to eat, i will go here again for sure.
