This intimate restaurant offers a straightforward menu featuring Australian meats and prices well below other hotel steakhouses. While not all menu items are particularly memorable, service is excellent, and appetizers are impressive. Don't miss the rich lobster bisque or the crab cakes. The wine selection is quite extensive, with very reasonable prices.
Simple Steaks, Special Service
3.5/5 Stars
Angus Steakhouse offers a straightforward menu, featuring Australian meats and prices well below other hotel steakhouses. Not all menu items are particularly memorable or outstanding, but service is excellent. While slightly overdone, the Wagyu filet mignon (¥378) was nicely flavored. We recommend the Merlot and shallot sauce (¥8). The 330g Wagyu flank steak (¥248) is surprisingly good, but we were more impressed with starters than the steaks. The lobster bisque (¥58) is wonderfully rich, the crab cakes (¥38) are great, and we were impressed with the combination of foie gras (¥108) with apples and raisins. There’s a decent selection of wines, and prices start at just ¥128.
